World War II Vets & 65th Anniversary of D-Day

A Collingwood-based tour company and a Wasaga Beach couple have joined forces to help send three elderly World War II veterans to the 65th anniversary of D-Day this June. (President Obama will be there!) The Henrys have launched a fundraising campaign to help out the veterans and the Christiansons.

"We live in Wasaga Beach with a posted population of 16,000. If every resident donated just a toonie, we could raise $32,000. It's that simple! Simply a toonie. Can you imagine if every Canadian were to do that. To contribute to the effort, Tom said to go to the Venturebound Tours web-site at www.ventureboundtours.blogspot.com.
