The Wasaga Beach Chamber of Commerce is pleased to announce the newest event for our members – Breakfast at the Beach. Breakfast at the Beach will take place on the second Thursday of each month.The very first event will be on Thursday April 9th at Beverly's on Main (140 Main St.) from 7:00-8:30am.
The breakfast will be $15 for Chamber members and $18 for non-members.
There will be opportunity to network and get to know other business owners in the Beach and surrounding areas and there will be a guest speaker at each breakfast to speak on topics of interest to the membership.
The guest speaker for April 9th will be Ellen Riches of the Indigo Group, the title of her talk is 'Feel the Fear and Do it Anyway!' According to the Book of Lists, speaking in public is the number 1 fear for men and the number 2 fear for women. A woman’s number 1 fear is 'death by fire.' So, what this suggests is that most men would rather be dead than speak in public.
